Grain markets are green in the early morning trade, will the strength last or will we see profit taking ahead of tomorrow’s WASDE report.

Corn
Technicals (March)
March corn futures rejected our 4-star resistance pocket in yesterday’s session, which we outlined as 493-496 1/2. That failure keeps that pocket intact. If the Bulls are able to revisit and chew through this pocket, it could spark a more meaningful trend higher on the back of short covering into the end of the year. On the flip side, a break and close back below our pivot pocket from 481-484 opens the door for a potential retest of the lows.

Soybeans
Technicals (January)
January soybean futures continue to flirt with our 4-star support pocket from 1294 1/2-1300. From a risk/reward standpoint, we see it as a spot for Bears to reduce exposure and Bulls to put exposure on. You know where your wrong, and that’s a break and close below support. The first short term upside target comes in from 1323-1327.

Wheat
Technicals (March)
March Chicago wheat futures traded sharply higher in yesterday’s trade but finished the day well off the high. Has the market gone too far too fast? Probably, but that doesn’t mean that the rally is dead. We would few pullbacks as healthy from these levels which may ultimately set up for better opportunities for Bulls to get exposure back on (if the reduced near these levels).
Bias: Neutral/Bullish
