Grain futures are on the brink or climbing out above technical resistance for the first time in what seems like a lifetime. Can the strength last through today’s trade?
Corn
Technicals (December)
December corn futures were able to catch a bid yesterday which has spilled over into some overnight and early morning strength. Prices are back above trendline resistance and the 20-day moving average for the first time in over a month. If the Bulls can achieve a close above our pivot pocket from 396 1/4-397 1/4 it could set the table for a good start to September. Minor resistance comes in from 401-403, above that is more significant resistance from 409-413.

Resistance: 401-403 3/4, 409-413*

Soybeans
Technicals (November)
